Tweet & Taste with Shady Lane Cellars

This is an event you will not want to miss! You can be part of a tasting lead by winemaker Adam Satchwell from the comfort of your own home. All that you need are the wines, internet access, a Twitter account, and maybe a glass if you like.
With the help of Shanon Casey of Michigan by the Bottle, Shady Lane Cellars will lead a tasting and you will have the opportunity along with some notable wine bloggers to comment LIVE with the winemaker. Complete details and instruction on how to participate can be found HERE.

2010 San Francisco Cronicle Wine Competition
This year over 4,900 wines were evaluated in an All-American wine competition held earlier this month. Shady Lane Cellars is proud to announce a Gold medal for our 2007 Semi-Dry Riesling. This was the only Gold received by a Michigan Riesling. You can find complete results here.
The 2009 Jefferson Cup Invitational Wine Competition results are in and once again Shady Lane Cellars flagship white wine received high marks. The Jefferson Cup is the only wine competition that celebrates the best of the best in America’s wine regions. Over 600 wines are pre-selected which exemplify viticulture and winemaking in America. They do not give out Gold or Silver medals as the wines invited have already proven their excellence in competitions throughout the past year.
