White Wines
2006 Chardonnay
89% Chardonnay, 11% Auxerrois
Case Production: 343
Residual Sugar: Dry
Price: $16.00
Winemaker Notes:
Medium-bodied and rich on the palate, this wine has lots of lemon, apple, pear, vanilla and spice aromas and flavors with a light oaked finish. Aged for 11 months in French and American oak and blended with a bit of Auxerrois for added complexity and depth. This wine is great with roasted or grilled poultry and pork, richer fish such as salmon or tuna, and cream sauces.
2007 Pinot Grigio
100% Pinot Grigio
Case Production: 330
Residual Sugar: Dry
Price: $15.00
Sale Price: $9.99
Winemaker Notes:
Crisp, light and refreshing in the Italian Pinot Grigio style. Fermented and aged completely in stainless steel tanks with no oak aging. This wine exhibits aromas and flavors of citrus, fresh melon and herbs. A wonderful compliment to seafood, light fish dishes and salads.
100% Riesling, Estate Grown and Bottled
Case Production: 142
Residual Sugar: Dry
Price: $16.50
Winemaker Notes:
Made in a truly dry style, this wine exhibits classic Riesling aromas of peach, citrus, apples, wildflowers, honey and spice coupled with an intriguing lemon oil quality all together in a fuller, richer and drier style than our Semi-Dry Riesling. Great paired with anything from freshwater fish in a light lemon-butter sauce to roasted pork.
2007 Semi-Dry Riesling
100% Riesling
Case Production: 2066
Residual Sugar: 3.0% (Lightly Sweet)
Price: $15.00
Winemaker Notes:
This wine has all the classically cool climate Riesling aromas of peach, guava, citrus, wildflowers and honey. The moderate level of sweetness is nicely balanced with vibrant acidity to maintain balance and to keep the wine clean and lively. A good pairing for Asian inspired cuisine, all manner of poultry and pork with fruit based sauces, and of course the traditional Thanksgiving feast.
2007 Gewurztraminer
100% Gewurztraminer, Estate Grown and Bottled
Case Production: 221
Residual Sugar: Dry
Price: $18.00
Winemaker Notes:
This wine is a tribute to spice with intense rose petal, tangerine peel and lychee notes. It is finished absolutely dry and delivers the traditional richness of Gewurztraminer without the sometimes awkward and bitter finish this variety can have. Great with all forms of Asian cuisines from Indian to Thai to Vietnamese. I like to serve this with sautéed soft-shell crabs with a spicy black bean sauce.
2008 Coop de Blanc
100% Vignoles
Case Production: 357
Residual Sugar: 6.0% (Sweet)
Price: $13.00
Winemaker Notes:
This wine replaces our old favorite, Serenity. Produced from Vignoles, it captures the great fruit aromas of grapefruit, nectarine and pineapple this variety is known for. Made in a somewhat sweeter style Coop de Blanc is all about the fruit, the fun and the sheer drinkability. Perfect summertime wine for picnics, barbecues, the deck or whenever you want something easy and absolutely delicious.

Can you tell me which resling that is purchased by Reds on the River in Rockford Michigan and if it’s available? We’ve only tried once and very much enjoyed it.

Colleen-
That beautiful wine you had at Reds on the River was our 2007 Semi-Dry Riesling. This is our flagship white wine vintage after vintage and there is still time to take advantage of our 1 penny shipping before the holiday. Thanks for discovering Shady Lane.
